Abu Dhabi:Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo highlighted the various projects that have been chalked out for the development of undivided Dakshina Kannada district.
Interacting with Mangalorean community based in Abu Dhabi during his visit to the India Social and Cultural Centre here recently, the MLA said as the elected representative of his constituency he would strive his level best to feel the pulse of the people and live upto their expectations.
He also sought suggestions from the Manglaorean community in Abu Dhabi towards the development of their home district and city which can emerge as the second major city of Karnataka next to Bangalore.
Lobo further appealed to the NRI community to bring more investments in their hometown of Mangalore. He said steps are being taken to develop good infrastructural facilities in the city.
The MLA also answered various queries from the audience and the whole programme was in Kannada.

The programme was organised by the KCO along with other organizations including Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha, Abu Dhabi Tulu Koota, Billawara Balaga, Amgele Samaj, Brahmanara Samaja, Beary Saheban and Beary Association.
