MCA felicitates GVOM 1st Runners Up – Sana Britto and Harry Correa

Doha: Mangalore Cultural association, a renowned socio cultural community affiliated to ICC, organized Felicitation Dinner at Concorde Hotel, Doha on Friday, Nov 28 evening.

The function started at 8:00 pm with an opening Note by Sundeep Noronha the MC for the evening followed by welcome address by President Arthur Pais. Meanwhile MCA felicitated Budding Konkani Stars, Gulf voice of Mangalore-4 Runner up winners Harry Correa and Sana Britto. Harry and Sana were honored by advisory member of MCA Felix Lobo and Wilfred Fernandes with shawl and bouquets and gift vouchers.

Harry Correa is a Budding star in Qatar Konkani singer, who performed many stage shows and recorded audio series within his young age era. He also enthralled the Qatar audience with his melodies voice at Norbert Pereira Nite and many other shows. Harry is hailing from Bejai, Mangalore from past six years he is resided at Qatar with his wife Karen and little two children.

Charming girl Sana Britto, daughter of John Britto & Denzil britto is hailing from thottam, Udupi. Sana is not only Budding Konkani star singer, also a brainy girl who scored 96 percent in her 12th CBSE and become a commerce top scorer in Qatar. Sana won many awards and title, including SOAD-3 Qatar in 2012. Sana is right now pursuing her Business in Administration at Carnegie Mellon University.

MCA advisory committee member Felix Lobo delivered best wishes to budding singers and asked to enrich the Konkani singing to high level. Meanwhile Sana & Harry enthralled the audience with their melodies voice too.

The program was followed with GVOM Quiz games conducted by Veena Pais & Sandeep Noronha. Winners were awarded with beautiful gifts. The guests included GVOM -4 Qatar participants with their families, MCA committee members and their families and some of the well wishers who contributed to the success of GVOM 4.

The program was concluded with sumptuous dinner.
