Vylan Dalmaida, a young and creative individual, hailing from Mangalore on the western coast of Karnataka, was featured in Campaign ME, the Middle East edition of the UK’s leading magazine for the advertising and media industry as one of the region’s leading creative strategists. An engineer turned designer turned strategist Vylan joined the advertising world after completing the Scoial stragety boot camp at the Maiami Ad School with the Top Dog Award. Earlier to that he obtained his Masters in Communication Design at IED Madrid, Spain. He completed his internships at TBWA/RAAD under some of the industry’s top names and then joined Hugdigital.com a digital branding agency in the UAE. With offices in the UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait & India, they are the region’s leading digital agency. They are often called into play to promote brand conciousness as they provide creatives that entice, engage and build brand recall through a combination of data, research, analytics and great story telling ability. And Vylan has a huge role to play in this engagement – as he is the creative strategist at Hugdigital.com setting direction and standards for the campaign. He has described his role succinctly on his Linkedin profile – ‘come up with an idea for the idea’ He did exactly that when he came up with digital media campaign ideas for Lexus and Kraft – two well known international brands and a very effective campaign for Honda, another global automotive brand – all this in his short stint of seven months with the agency.

Vylan is the son of Valerian and Blanch Dalmaida and brother of Edmon Dalmaida.
