Qatar: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a renowned community group organised Environment Awareness Campaign at Ashoka Hall on 3rd February 2014 evening 7 P.M.

Dileep Kumar, liason officer and technical Advisor for Qatar Environment minister, was chief guest of the function. Indian Embassy defence chief R.K.Singh and ICC president Girish Kumar was guest of honour. ICBF president Aravind Patil, ICC general secretary Divakar Poojary and other dignitaries from ICC were present on the occasion.

The program started by welcoming the guest with sampling pots. Children elocution competition winner Sanjith Shetty and Karal presented a speech on the topics ‘Deforestation’ and ‘Co2 Emission’ respectively.

KSQ president Deepak shetty briefed about past activities of community under environment awareness program. Later on KSQ former president Arvind Patil gave a presentation on ‘Ozone Depletion’ and Arul Fernandes rendered a presentation on ‘Sustainable Development’.

Green Committee member Tufail Mohammed Matheen conducted a pledge on Environment protection and delivered vote of thanks. Manjunath Rao compered the program.
