Abu Dhabi : An Indian expatriate named John Varghese became the new multi-millionaire of Big Ticket raffles after winning Dh 12 million, ( approx- Rs 21.24 Crores) the second biggest jackpot of the Big Ticket raffle in Abu Dhabi on April 3.

Dream car Land Rover series 10 and the dream Dh12 million draws for series 190 were announced on April 3 at the Abu Dhabi International Airport’s arrivals hall at 10AM local time, where John Varghese‘s ticket bearing number 093395 was picked.

This was second time that such a grand prize money was rewarded by Big Ticket following January’s Big Ticket draw.

These tickets can be purchased online or at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain Duty Free and City Terminal Abu Dhabi.

Tickets remain at their usual price of just Dh 500, and if you buy two tickets one ticket is given for free under buy-two-get-one free scheme.

 “I feel blessed to be a Big Ticket Grand winner” said winner John Varghese , a driver by profession. He has no plans to return to India but is inclined continue working in UAE. 

He has been buying Big Ticket for a year alternatively with his friends and the prize is likely to be shared among four.
