Dubai: Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder and President of Thumbay Group launched the Video version of the Sanskrit classic drama “Mruchchakataka” on YouTube by clicking the link of the video at a simple ceremony organized at the Thumbay Medical college, Ajman.

Dhwani Prathishthana had organized the performance of the Sanskrit classic drama “Mruchchakataka” at the Emirates theatre in Dubai as part of its 34th annual day celebrations. The original drama was written in Sanskrit by Mahakavi Shudraka and translated into Kannada by Dr. N. S. Lakshminarayana Bhat. The drama was presented on stage by Dhwani artistes and directed by Mr. Prakash Rao Payyar. The video was uploaded on to Youtube for universal viewing.

Dr Thumbay Moideen praised the Dhwani Prathishthana Team lead by Mr. Prakash Rao Payyar who has successfully conducted quality programs in literature and theatre for the last three decades without any selfish motives. He wished the association more success in its forthcoming programs and hoped that they would earn a name for itself in the literary and theatre fields.

Dhwani members Ashok Anchan, Sugandh Raj Bekal, Ashok Bailoor, Ganesh Kulal along with Vignesh and others were present during the occasion.
