Sharjah: Tulu movie Dhand, Sandhya Creation’s second venture will be screened on September 4 in Al Hamra Cinema Sharjah in Rolla with the Premier of the show scheduled at 1:30 PM followed by two more shows at 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm providing flexible timings for Tuluvas to attend conveniently.
Dhand has gained appreciation wherever released in India and it has been compared to the standards of Hindi movies for its quality and mass entertainment.

The film has been written and directed by Ranjith Bajpe. Abhishek S N has provided the music, Sujith Nayak has edited the movie, while Karthik Kallur has done the cinematography for this film.

Prasanna Bailoor and Pradeep Barboza Paladka are the script writers of the film. Well-known stunt master Ultimate Shivu has done the action sequences in the movie. Akul N is the choreographer. An item number belly dance for the first time in Tulu cinema is included in the movie. Sonu Nigam is said to have rendered his voice for one of the songs. Anoop Shanker too has sung for the movie.

“Dhand”, a complete package of comedy, action, story and melody has well-known local stars such as Arjun Kapikad, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, Anoop Sagar, Deepak Paladka, Umesh Mijar, Gopinath Bhat, Pradeepchandra Kuthpady, Ranjan Boloor, Manju Rai Mulur and many more. Shilpa Suvarna, Nidhi Maroli and Anvitha Paru are the new faces in female lead roles along with other well-known faces.

For the first time, Surakshita Shetty has designed the costumes as well as done the assistant direction for the movie.

‘Dhand’ movie has the tagline ‘Pira Onji Gobbu Suru’ meaning ‘The Game Begins Again…!’ which has attracted huge number Tulu movie lovers. The story is based on issues of drug abuse and harassment of women going on in the society.

Sudhakar Kudroli, is the executive producer while Shodhan Prasad has produced the movie which hit the theatres in May this year.
