Car tyre blast snuffs out Bengalurean lady’s life in Sharjah

Sharjah: A lady from Bengaluru working as a HR in Abu Dhabi lost her life in a mishap caused due to car tyre blast on Thursday, June 30.

The deceased has been identified as Savitha Thirumalesh (40), basically hailing from Bengaluru. It is said that Savitha used to visit her cousin in Sharjah every Thursday and as usual, when she was on her way to Sharjah, the front tyre of the taxi in which she was plying burst killing her. Three other passengers who were in the rear seat and the taxi driver escaped with minor injuries.

Savitha was working for Abu Dhabi National Hotels as HR Assistant while her husband and 13-year-old son were living in Bengaluru. Since many attempts to get her husband and son to Abu Dhabi failed, Savitha was planning to return to Bengaluru.

Savitha was a talented throwball player and was in the Karnataka Sangha Abu Dhabi team. Sangha has condoled her death.
