Doha (Qatar), Mar 29: Group hailing from the Karnataka and Maharashtra celebrated a second annual day on Friday, March 28 this year at the Al Maha Boys Academy in Doha, Qatar.
The ceremony began at 4:30 pm, with melodious songs by the guest artistes Anitha D’souza and Prahlad Bhat from Mangalore.
Further, kids rocked the floor with their dance performances at the occasion, which was choreographed by Dimple and performed from well talented Bunt kids and charming Bunts Ladies Chaitali Shetty, Chaitali Suhas, Akshaya Shetty, Dhanlakshmi Rai and Shilpa Shetty.
Also, popular Kannada writer, columnist, activist Bunt Dr Narendra Rai Derla graced the occasion as a chief guest.
The BSQ felicitated Sreedhar Nayak with ‘Seva Sampada’ award for his outstanding community service in Qatar, meanwhile Tulukoota Qatar president Seetharam Shetty appreciated Sreedhar Nayak for his great contribution in social activities.
Moreover, President Ravi Shetty addressed the keynotes and president Prakashchandra Ajila, general secretary Navneeth Shetty, cultural secretary Akshatha Hegde were also present on the dais.
President Seetharam Shetty, SKMS president Abdul Majeed, former president of Tulu Koota Qatar and ICBF members Ramchandra Shetty, Vivian Dsouza, Arun Kumar, Aravind Patil, V.S.Mannangi, Nagesh Rao, Sudheer Kumar, Mahesh Gowda and other prominent community leaders, office-bearers and members of various Karnataka-based associations in Qatar, were too present at the occasion.
The whole program was compered by Dr Padmashree Shetty and cultural secretary Akshatha Hegde delivered vote of thanks.
