Dubai: Bearys Cultural Forum (BCF), U.A.E., launched their sports Brochures on 29th November to herald the “Bearys Sports Festival – 2015 at the Gulf Medical University Ground at Ajman on 30th January 2015 (Friday). It promises to be a day of entertainment full of fun, enthusiasm and frolic from 8 am to 8 pm.
The Bearys Sports Festival – 2015 will be chaired by Mr. Haneef Kaup, the Chairperson of the BCF Sports Day and will be presided over by Dr. B.K. Yusuf, the President of the Bearys Cultural Forum.
During the Brochure launch Mr. Mumtaz Ali BCF Patron member, Dr. B.K Yusuf, the President , Dr Kaup General Secretary , Mr. Latheef Mulky Vice President , Mr. Razak Vice President , Mr.Ameerudheen Vice President were present along with Sports committee members.
Honorable Mr. U.T. Khader, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka & Honorable Mr. Abhayachandra Jain, Minister for Youth Services, Fisheries and Sports, Government of Karnataka have kindly consented to the Chief Guests of Honor on the eve Bearys Sports Festival – 2015. Mr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder Patron of Bearys Cultural Forum and President of Gulf Medical University will be the Special Guest of Honor at the Bearys Sports Festival – 2015.
The events during Bearys Sports Festival will be starting in the morning at 8 am. There are lots of events and games for children and ladies. Children who are under age of 5 years, 10 years and 15 years, can participate in Running Race, Lemon & Spoon, Tele-Match, Three Legged Race etc. For ladies, the Bearys Cultural Forum will be organizing Cookery Competitions in category which will include preparation of BBQ delights and Sweets.
For both the above categories of cookery competitions, high weightage will be given for presentation and taste. All the Beary ladies are invited to participate in cookery competition. There are also additional events planned for ladies which include Mehandi Design competition, Musical Chair competition, Eating competition, three leg races, short put, Newspaper race, Lemon & spoon and 100 Metres race etc.
For men, a lot of sporting events are organized which include Running Race, Short Put, Relay Race, Tug of War, Pot Breaking competition etc. In this Sports Festival, Cricket tournament is also being organized by Bearys Cultural Forum on 9th, 16th and 23rd of January 2015 between 7 am and 5.30 pm at the Al Mamzar Ground, Dubai. Besides, Football Tournament, Volleyball Tournament Kabadi Tournament, Badminton (doubles), Billiards are being organized during the Bearys Sports Festival on 30th January 2015.
For Boys under 14, there will be games like Football, 100 Mtr running race, lemon & spoon, three leg race.
Cash prizes will be given to, Winners of team events.
Delicious lunch will be served at the Bearys Sports Festival with live cooking. Tea, Coffee, Snacks and Cold drinks will also be available throughout the day.
During the event raffle draw coupon will be given at a minimal rate of AED 10/- per coupon to enter Mega Raffle Draw, which has a first prize of an LED T.V, a 2nd Prize of a Samsung Smartphone and a 3rd prize of a digital camera and some surprise gifts will be distributed as spot prizes between events.
