Moodbidri :Eminent writer Dr SR Vijayashanker has said that the poems of Pejawar  Sadashiva Rao had good social thoughts.

He was speaking at the Pejawar Sadashiva Rao Memorial programme held as part of Alva’s Vishwa Nudisiri Virasat  at Vidyagiri on December 21, Saturday. He said Navya literature was thriving during the times of Sadashiva Rao who had authored a poem called ‘Alaru’ when he was 17. 

Despite obtaining technical education, Rao who was a significant poet always believed that a poet can be progressive when he crosses his boundaries, said Vijayashanker.
