Mangalore : State Fisheries and Youth Services Minister Abhayachandra Jain  has kicked off a row by manhandling an autorickshaw driver who was participating in  a protest at Mulki on Monday December 30.

A group of auto rickshaw drivers  were staging a protest at Mulki  condemning the bad road conditions and raising slogans denouncing minister Abhayachandra Jain who also happens to represent the constituency.

The minister who had arrived at the protest venue was visibly infuriated and    pushed an autorickshaw driver,  making matters worse. The situation was later brought under control.

One of the protestors said “The road condition from Mulki to Moodbidri is horrible. Rather than addressing   our issue the minister is over-powering us.”
