Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday paid his respects to Dalit leader Babu Jagjivan Ram on his 109th birth anniversary. Jagjivan Ram is an inspirational figure who had dedicated his life to the upliftment of the poor and the marginalised.

CM paid floral tributes to the Dalit leader at an award ceremony in Bengaluru. Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya and several other Dalit leaders were present.
