Mysuru: A young man who jumped off a hospital building to kill self, suffered multiple injuries and is now battling for survival.

The chilling video clip showing suspected mentally challenged youth named Manjunath taking a plunge from Jayadeva Hospital building top inside K R Hospital premises has gone viral in the media.

Manjunath visited Jayadeva Hospital in the afternoon of June 26 on the pretext of meeting an ailing relative named Sangeetha. Instead, he went straight to the roof top of the hospital building and attempted suicide.

The exact reason behind his action is not yet known.

Devaraja police arrived at the spot and are investigating further.
