Mysuru: “The youth should work together to keep caste and religion aside for the betterment of the nation”, said District Incharge and state revenue minister V Srinivas Prasad at the District Youth Convention organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Mysuru.
Inaugurating the convention he said youth should involve in the development of society and build secularism from within as the present situation is getting worse.

Manjula Manasa, Chairman Women’s Commission, also said that most of the youth are mislead in the name of technology and social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp. These social media are major the reason for the present situations like women harassments, rapes and crimes are taking place.
Nearly 2000-3000 women in each district are involving themselves in prostitution because of lack of education.
She asked the gathered youth to aim high in their education which can lead them to achievements in their life.
Pushpa Amarnath ZP President, Vasu,MLA Chamaraja Constituency, M K Somshekar and other officials were also present.
