Youngsters exhorted to appear for competitive exams

Mysore: Appearing for competitive exams will provide a strong foundation to an individual who wants to carve out a successful career, said D Kiran, Managing Director of CESCOM.

He was speaking after inaugurating a coaching camp for candidates appearing for banking recruitment exams, organised by the Karnataka State Open University’s Competitive Exam  Coaching Centre at the University Auditorium on Friday May 23.

He said compared to other states the participation rate of candidates from Karnataka in competitive exams is very less, One reason is the opinion that such exams are tough. However, the truth is that hard works can earn success, he further added.

Kiran  also exhorted the candidates to read newspapers and magazines which broadens their horizons and urged them to view any  topic from a different angle and analyse it.

MG Krishnan, Vice Chancellor of Karnataka State Open University, Satyanarayana, Co-ordinator and others were present.

Hundreds of candidates benefitted from the camp.
