Mysore : A Maruti Omni  was gutted  after it accidentally caught fire when some welding work was on, at Kumbarageri here on May 18, Saturday. Luckily no one was injured in the incident.

A Maruti Omni was under repair near the Kumbarageri Fifth Cross of Narayana Shastri Road, Mysore. When an employee of the garage began the welding works, a spark is learnt to have ignited the fire. Though the fire service department was informed the van was gutted by the time the fire tender vehicle arrived at the spot. Even an autorickshaw parked nearby was damaged in the fire.
