Mysuru: Former minister and senior JDS leader A H Vishwanath has taken strong exception to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah branding Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other associated right wing outfits as terror outfits.

Speaking to reporters in Chamarajangar, Vishwanth said as the chief minister, Siddaramaiah should have used his discretion before uttering such words. “The state government has every right and power to initiate stringent action against such organisations but inappropriate remarks should have been avoided by someone of the stature of chief minister.

Both national parties are staging dramas where one lies in a dead state while the other in mourning state and switch positions for political gains”, he sarcastically remarked.

Vishawanth’s reaction is a form of advice to the man at the helm in the state, said one of Vishwanath’s supporters present at the venue.

Reacting on the retaliatory killing of Ahmed Basheer by 4 men with links to right wing outfits, CM had branded both RSS, Bajrang Dal as terror outfits.
