Mysuru: Pratap Simha, MP Mysore and Madikeri, presided over  the 1st meeting of District Awareness committee meeting held at the ZP hall Mysuru.

The committee members Dhruva Narayana MP Chamaraja Nagara, Sa Ra Mahesh MLA, Dr Pushpavathi Amarnath ZP President, DC C Shikha, L Madappa Vice president ZP and others were present in the meeting.

Pratap Simha,  enquired about the Central Government plans and their financial and physical development with the concerned officers. Plans like Grameena Udyoga Khatri Plan their financial and physical development, Indira Awas Plan, NRLM, NSAP, PMGSY, IWMP ,DWGDP, NRDWP, NBA, special Central assistance to tribal Sub plan, RGGVY. of the year 2012/13/14 October.

Simha instructed officers to avoid unnecessary bogus beneficiaries in the Job card distribution and asked to give a platform to physically challenged candidates in the plan. He also told them to update him on the above plans and their progress at the earliest.

Dhruva Narayan asked officers to utilize the fund granted for the plan by the Government and improve in the expenditure as the expenditure is  low compared to other districts. He said Mysuru occupies the 17th place in the expenditure chart and Chamarajanagar, the  7th place.  The released fund should be utilized and updated with the necessary proof like photos and videos.

Sa Ra Mahesh MLA questioned  the officers regarding the misuse of fund by the beneficiaries.

The main suggestion by the committee to officers was to use the fund in a proper way, serve the public and create awareness in the village about the plans of the Govt.
