UPA misrule must end: Dr Subrahmanian Swamy

Mysore: The UPA Government has done much harm to the nation and there is a need to put an end to the misrule, said Dr Subrahmanian Swamy,MP.

Participating in an interaction meet organised by Yuva Bharath at the Sharada Vilasa College Centenary Bhavan here  he predicted that the UPA government would not come to power again for the next 50 years.

Dr Swamy further   said there was a need to give an opportunity to Gujarat CM Narendra Modi to become the prime minister. “If all Hindus  by shunning the Aryan, Dravidian concept  come together and vote unitedly, then  our government will protect every citizen of the land irrespective of his religion,” Dr Swamy said and exuded confidence that  Modi will become the prime minister.

Alleging that the Government has looted the state  resources, Swamy pointed out the cases of Raja and Kannimozi.”Even Finance Minister Chidambaram is one among them. My aim is to send  behind bars Chidambaram who has been evading every time an allegation is hurled,” he further said.

A book “Tipu Sultan-The Tyrant of Mysore” authored by Sandeep Balakrishna was released on the occasion.

Former minister SA Ramdas presided over the function.  Former lecturer MC Ramanarasimha, Tejaswi Soorya, author Sandeep Balakrishna, Gorur Govardhan and others were present.
