Mandya : JDS has been fooling the people that they don’t join hands with none and don’t need support of communal BJP by a secret understanding within them, it would not give them any success, said the former union external minister S M Krishna.
Krishna,after inaugurating convention of Congress party activists at Silver Jubilee Park, here further said that JDS has disregarded its ideology and into pacts with communal BJP. However, Congress has no history of forming pact with communal forces, said Krishna.
Congress party led by Rajeev Gandhi bagged 400 seats out of a total of 540 in the general elections held in 1984. Krishna who had contested in the general elections from Mandya constituency faced defeat opponent Shankare Gowda. Meanwhile, in a democratic governance, ultimate result depend on voters’ verdict said Krishna. He also urged the voters to support Congress candidate Ramya in the upcoming bypolls.
Congress party is committed to its manifesto, while the state government is fulfilling its assurances one after the other. I always support CM Siddaramaiah led state government and KPCC president Parameshwar, said Krishna.
The former PM Deve Gowda is dreaming his son Kumaraswamy becomes legitimate CM because the latter has become CM in dishonest means. When would Deve Gowda teach him on the just means? queried Krishna.
