Mysuru: To enable smooth conduct of International Yoga Day where more than 50,000 are expected to take part at Mysuru Race Course, the city traffic police have restricted movement of vehicular traffic on surrounding roads in the city on June 21 from 5 am to 10 am.
Apart from vehicles of yoga practitioners, the rest are prohibited from entering JSS College junction connecting MRC Circle on Nanjangud Road, Kurubaralli Circle to MRC Circle on Lalitha Mahal Palace Road, Mirza Circle to Mysuru Zoo through Mysuru Race Club.
All vehicles from Nanjangud to city should go through JSS College Road junction and JLB Road. The vehicles coming through Lalitha Mahal Palace Road will have to pass through Kurubaralli Circle, Vayuvihara Road. The Kollegala -T Narasipur buses should pass through Five Lights Circle, Police Commissioner’s Office Circle, Chamundi Vihar Stadium Road, Nazarbad Police Station, M M Road.
The vehicles may be parked at Karanji Lake premises, ATI premises, Circus grounds, Dasara Exhibition Ground premises, Mall of Mysuru parking lot, Doddakere Maidan Grounds, JSS College Ooty Road and Mysuru Race Club gate premises.
Yoga mat compulsory:
Those who want to take part in the International Yoga Day event at Mysuru Race Course premise on June 21, should compulsorily get Yoga mats. Apart from this, they should get inside only after getting bar-coded ticket.
