Mysuru: Here is the opportunity for the rail commuters to have their grievances addressed. Atul Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager along with officers of Commercial Tax department and Railway Protection Force carried out a surprise check in T.No.16535 (Gol Gumbaz Train) leaving Mysuru here on February 1.
He inspected the Reservation and Parcel offices of Mysuru Station to identify any malpractice by Railways staff .The drive was conducted as a part of an On Board Ticket Checking exercise to identify malpractice in berth allotments which will be continued for the next 72 hours throughout Mysuru Division. The railway authorities will take out such drive across prominent railways stations in Mysuru division which includes Arsikere, Davangere, Hassan and Shivamogga.
The objective of the drive is to seek support from the aware passengers in the department’s mission to improve integrity and honesty in the delivery of rightful services to the passengers.
