Mysuru: The All India democratic students organisation, All India democratic youth organisation, All India mahila samskruthika sangatane staged a protest against the university of Mysore urging to drop odd-even examination scheme here in front of Crawford hall on Friday.

The protesters who pooled in front of the gate  urged to conduct examinations for all semesters at the end of each semester. But recently there was high fluctuation in the results. In some cases, the internal marks have not been added which had resulted in less passing percentage.

They demanded to drop the odd-even semester scheme, to reduce the revaluation fees and also to reduce the convocation certificate fees.
Meanwhile the the syndicate meeting was going on inside Crawford hall. Though UoM vice chancellor prof. K S Rangappa and other members of syndicate were aware of the protest nobody responded to them.
