Seven arrested, stolen articles worth Rs 48.38 lakh recovered

Mysuru: District police has arrested seven persons and managed to solve four different theft cases. Property worth Rs Rs 48.38 lakh was recovered.

Superintendent of Police Abhinav Khare said, “Among four cases which were solved with the arrest of seven persons, three belong to Mysuru sub-division and one to Nanjangud sub division. A theft case reported three days back and a case reported eight months earlier have been solved. Our staff was successful in nabbing those involved in lifting motors, pumpset, starters along with cables. All valuable with Rs 25.4 lakh was recovered with the arrest of three people. In another case, by arresting two people, 17 two-wheeler theft cases were solved by recovering vehicles worth Rs 5 lakh from the duo. They had stolen two wheelers from Mysuru, Chamarajanagar and Mandya districts”.

SP Khare congratulated all the staff members including ASP Divya and DySP Vikram for unearthing the crimes.
