Mysuru: The district superintendent of police has suspended one sub-inspector and relived the other from his duties from Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) for lowering the dignity and image of police force.

It may be recalled, the two police officers took part in a party where liquor was served and the police sub inspectors were seen carrying Karnataka PWD minister’s H C Mahadevappa son, Sunil Bose on their shoulders. The photographs and information about the party was reported in media.

Responding on a inquiry report by Nanjangud ASP Divyasara Thomas after the incident, Mysuru district SP Abhinav Khare has suspended T.Narsipur sub-inspector of Police Shivanna. On the other side ACB IGP Dr. MS Saleem has instructed ACB SP Kavitha to relieve ACB inspector Ramanchandra gowda from his duties, who was promoted to Chamrajanagar ACB wing recently from Bannur. He has also asked to conduct separate investigation into the incident.
