Sensational Fire Escape Stunt in Cultural City

Mysore: As the Independence Day celebrations were held all over cultural capital Mysore, in the outskirts of city Ujwala – 2013, enthralled the viewers at Silent Shore located on K R Road, Hootagalli.

The ace magician Samarth Shenoy staged great fire escape in association with several organizations including newskarnataka.com and transpired the viewers to outer world of magic.

The viewers jam packed the venue, wherein a bundle of 4 feet diameter bay-box was placed in the center that created sensation. By then, magician Samarth Shenoy arrived with his hands and feet fastened to his back and locked. He was lowered in that condition by a crane from 100 feet above into the box along with firecrackers.

Nonetheless, the fire was lit into the bay-box and it began to burn in flames. The viewers were watching the fireball intensely and it was in ashes. By then, magician Samarth Shenoy who was secured with chains and lock appeared from behind the stage, as if nothing had happened. The viewers gave thundering ovation on his adventurous magic.

Samarth who had ridden the motor bike blindfolded from Mysore to Mangalore in the past,demonstrated his great magical skills by staging great fire escape.  

No security:  

Samarth Shenoy after his successful stunt magic said that the magicians in Karnataka have no security, while in Kerala, in case of mishap in magic stunt, the state government awards compensation of Rs 3 lac.  It is not the case in Karnataka. It is the need of the hour, in order to encourage stunt magicians, said Samarth Shenoy.

The musician Naveen Sajju enthralled the viewers with his scintillating music from the movie Lucia, while Karate show stole the show.

Congress leader C N Manje Gowda, Mangalore sub-inspector Subramanyaswamy, Silent Shore manager Rishi, Magician Satish Hemmady, Movie director Yogesh and others were present on the occasion.
