New Delhi: The Bomb-Expert of Lashkar-E-Taiba, Abdul Karim Tunda was arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police from the Indo-Nepal border last night.
He was one among the top-20 most wanted terrorists of India.
In the dossier handed over to Pakistan after the 26/11 attacks, Tunda ranks number 15. He is accused of over 40 bomb blasts in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi in the 1990s.
The dossier also claims he is connected to Jaish-e-Mohammad and Markaz al-Dawa (now known as Jamat-ud-Dawa) apart from Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Abdul Karim Tunda, born in western UP and allegedly indoctrinated into terrorist activities by Pakistan’s ISI in the eighties, was trained in making improvised explosive devices, police sources said.
