SDA Premakumari issued notice for acting in film

Mysuru: Tahsildar Naveen Joseph has issued show-cause notice to Premakumari, a Second Division Assistant at Public Grievances Redressal Cell at taluk offices in Mini Vidhana Soudha in city, for acting in a film without taking requisite permission from authorities of the Revenue Department.

It is said that issuance of the notice comes in the wake of Premakumari, who had applied for leave on October 16 quoting personal reasons, had participated in the shooting of film titled NH-4.

It may be recalled that the controversial SDA had conducted a press conference at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city on August 14 during which she had accused former Minister S.A. Ramdas of deceiving her after promising to marry her that too without prior permission from the authorities concerned when she was presumed to be on duty.

It is also said that the authorities have withheld salaries of Premakumari for the past four months citing her refusal to take notices besides threatening to go to the media and even offering to resign.

Sources said that Premakumari has been given three days time to respond to the notice failing which she would be suspended.
