Mysore :SBRR Mahajan First Grade College conducted a student parliament and Talent day at Dr APJ Kalam Silver Jubilee Auditorium.

B B Ashok Kumar, Rtd. Assistant commissioner of Police, Bangalore was chief guest at the program. After inaugurating the program he recalled and shared his childhood and college days. He also said that when he was young he was totally against the Police department and also protested against the Police in 1973. He narrated the course of events that led him to join the Police Department after serving as a salesman in a Shoe Showroom.

It was after he joined the police force, he got the opportunity to serve society, in various ways, the experience of which is very dear to him.  He also shared his views on the on his literary interests and  add that S L Bairappa is his favorite writer and  book  “Vamsha Vruksha”  is his favorite read.  He also expressed great admiration for women’s role in society and that said that his wife has played a vital role in his success.
