Maddoor: The former minister of external affairs S M Krishna visited the grieving family of M G Sitaram, a city journalist who was perished in the mighty floods during his north India tour recently.

Sitarams father offered information about the family members who perished in floods and also sent the pics of his perished family to the government officials in Uttaranchal. He also said cases have been registered in Uttaranchal and in his native town.
Addressing the media persons after consoling Sitarams father, the former minister Krishan said that he will hold talks with union tourism minister to find 13 members of Sitaram family and also contact the officials of Uttaranchal government to take earnest interest in rescuing all the pilgrims stranded in any remote villages.
The former MLA M S Atmanand, K B Chandrashekar, K Suresh Gowda, KPCC member Gurucharan, TPO members K R Mahesh and P Sandarsha, block Congress president Kadaloor Ramakrishna, former town councilor Soubhagya Mahadevu, M K Mari Gowda, former deputy councilor Imtiyaz Ulla Khan, gram panchayat president Chikka Rame Gowda, leders Ravindra Srikantayya, Jayantilal Patel and others were present at the occasion.
