Mysuru: In order to develop the Dalit Communities every year, the state government will be requested to budget Rs 2500 crores for the Dr. Ambedkar Development Ltd, said Mallarajamma President, Dr Ambedkar Development Ltd. She was speaking at the organization’s introduction program at Kalamandir.

1.20 crore dalits are there in the state and day by day the number is increasing with the result that we are not reaching the set goals,  so from the SCP and TCP units, Rs 2500 crores should be reserved and the request for this will be presented to the CM,  she added

Pointing to the fund shortage she said, “Every year if we plan 2 lakhs beneficiaries we can reach 20 lakh people in another 10 years and the lower class will have opportunities to get into main stream. But the fund given is very less and very few people are getting benefits from the program”.
