Mysuru: Protesting for the second time in a fortnight, on January 22, the students of the Regional Institute of Education (RIE) in Manasagangotri, staged a demonstration in front of the DC’s Office this morning to draw the attention of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to their demands.

Around 300 students marched in a procession from the RIE Campus to the DC Office displaying their agitation.

They were mainly protesting against the educational authorities for not recognizing the integrated courses, such as, M.Sc Ed (physics) M.Sc Ed (Chemistry) M.Sc Ed (Maths) in NCTE and UGC and  various other issues.
