Rakshana Vedike urges MCC not to yield to parking mafia

Mysore: Mysore Rakshana Vedike activists  staged a demonstration in front of the City Corporation  Office on February 28, Friday   to pressurize the  authorities  not to bow to pressure from the cellar and parking mafia  which was responsible for violating building norms and  blue prints.

Referring to the  parking problem in the city, they demanded that the  elected representatives and Mysore City  Corporation(MCC) must take measures to end the problem.

They also  said the failure of the corporation to take action against constructions violating building and parking norms by not letting setback space, has created p[problems in the city.

The protestors further alleged that the authorities had colluded with vested interests.

Rakesh Bhat, Secretary of the Vedike, Gururaj Shetty, Youth wing president, Ravish, Prashanth and others participated in the protest.
