Mysuru: The Government of Karnataka has appointed Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, the Director of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board, University of Mysore as the Registrar (Evaluation), Bangalore Central University, Bengaluru.
Prof. Gandhi is a member of the Academic Council of the Central University of Karnataka and University of Mysore. Also he served as Nodal Officer for Ranking Survey of University of Mysore conducted by NIRF, MHRD, Government of India, wherein in the India Ranking– 2017, the varsity secured 36th rank among 740 universities across the country.
Gandhi recently made a PPT presentation at the National Convention (on Digital Initiatives) of all vice chancellors organised by MHRD, Government of India at Vignan Bhavan, New Delhi. Additionally, Prof. Gandhi served as Nodal Officer for RUSA Grants of MHRD, Govt of India and has implemented the scheme in the university. As a UoM coordinator of the University Review Commission, Gandhi prepared and presented the report on the five performances of the university from 2010-15. In his 34 years of academic and administrative experience, Gandhi has delivered more than 200 special lectures and presented papers in universities and institutions across the country and abroad as well.
