Mysore : With the countdown beginning for counting of votes of Lok Sabha elections, preparations are in full swing in the city to ensure a smooth counting process. A training programme for counting staff of Mysore Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency was also arranged here on Tuesday May 13.



The counting staff were trained on the method of counting votes from the Electronic Voting Machines. The training programme was held at the Maharaja College Centenary Bhavan.
The counting will be held at the Jayachamarajendra Engineering College in the city on May 14.
Shikha, Deputy Commissioner who also spoke said all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth counting process.
There will be a total of 144 counting supervisors, 144 counting assistants and in all over 250 staff on duty on counting day.
