Mysuru: It was in 1972 that Thespian Dr Rajkumar starrer ‘Mayura’ was shot inside the lavish Amba Vilas Palace. Since then the palace doors have remained shut for films and other projects. However, over the last few hours the pictures of a pre-wedding shoot inside Amba Vilas Palace have gone viral leaving people wondering if the photo shoot has taken place in real or it is the wonder of photoshop work.

The pictures clicked inside the ‘Durbar Hall’ of Amba Vilas palace, ‘Kalyana Mantap’ and various other places shows a young couple dressed in wedding attire posing romantically to the camera.

The pictures have even left the Palace Administrative Board members perplexed.

As per locals, the young couple are the children of Hyderabad based business tycoons, whose pre-wedding shoot was completed inside Amba Vilas Palace within mere 10 minutes.

However, Deputy Commissioner S Shikha has said that no such permissions were granted for any pre-wedding shoot inside the palace, where such activities have been prohibited. The truth will be out only after the ACP finds out if the shoot had taken place, verifying from the rushes of CCTV cameras that are functional here 24×7.
