Mysuru: Actor Prakash Rai/Raj and Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament (MP) Pratap Simha continue to defame each other, with the former taking the latter to court.

Prakash Rai filing a Re 1/- defamation suit against Pratap Simha angered the latter and hence started hurling fresh salvos at the actor.

“Rai is villain (referring to his role in films) and is not worth even 3 Annas (18 paise)”, said Simha and added “Let him file a defamation suit for 18 paise”, sarcastically.

The notice was initially served Prakash Raj’s name and now the defamation suit in Prakash Rai’s, said Simha accusing Rai of adopting double standards.

“Prakash Rai need not evaluate me as people of Mysuru have elected me and hence there is no need for further certification from men like Rai, who do not have any standing”, said Pratap rebutting Rai’s move to file a Re 1/- defamation suit.
