Mysore : Neligayogi Social welfare Trust, Mysore and Gowri Shankara Cultural Society, Banglaore had organized a Children’s Theatre camp 2014 in April and May 2014. The end of the camp saw the conduct of the some of the best plays of great playwrights from the 16th to 18th July.






On July 17th the play “Gurumurtappan Thota” was enacted at the Vanaranga, Rangayana, Mysore. This was its 502nd show.
At the inauguration, Janardhan, President, Rangayana, Srikrishnappa, President of Swabhimani Group, Lingaraju, ex defence forces, and Srikanta Gundappa, Senior Journalist were the chief guests at the show.
Janardhan said theatre has been neglected. In order to improve the quality of theatre, youngsters should come to theatre field. Being a part of theatre will help youngsters and childrento build a good relationship with the society and become good citizens and better human beings as well. He urged parents to send their kids to learn theatre and serve the theatre and society as well.
He also said coming to the theatre is like coming to the Temple.
Srikanta Gundappa said that Mysore always welcomes theatre lovers from different part of the world. He said he was glad to be a part of Mysore which is called the cultural city of Karnataka.
