Mysore: The parents of a girl murdered their own daughter in greed of money being reported late in the city. Jagadish and Gayatri couple residing at Vidhyanagar, here are trying to cover us the issue.
Gayatri delivered a girl child 8 years ago, but the couple never wanted a girl child. At this backdrop, Jagdish and Gayatri gave their daughter to the care of Jagdishs sister Manjula and her husband Ravikumar, who were childless. Manjula and Ravikumar lovingly cared Soumya and put her in a school. They also bought a house in Vidhyanagar in order to secure her future. Jagdish was jobless and both Jagdish and Gayatri were living in one portion of the house that was bought for Soumya, and let another portion to earn rent that sustained their living.
Meanwhile, Jagdish in December 2012 had gone to Veloor, where Ravikumar and Manjula were living with Soumya. Ravikumar returned to his house in Vidhyanagar along with Soumya without the knowledge of foster parents. Both Ravikumar and Manjula lodged complaint at the local police station, but the police refused to register a case, as the biological father has taken Soumya away and the foster parents had not registered the adoption deeds. But the couple complained to CM Jayalalita who ordered the police to probe the case.
Jagdish after bringing Soumya back home enrolled her in a school. Jagdish also demanded Rs 10 lac from foster parents. He also informed them that Soumya had fell from the terrace and treated at K R Hospital. However, Ravikumar alleges that Jagdish had murdered Soumya in his greed for money.
Nazarbad police are investigating the case.

The foster parents Ravikumar and Manjula lodged a complaint with K R police station that Jagdish was pestering them for money, while the latter has agreed to have demanded the money from Ravikumar.
