NSUI demonstrates against Sushma Swaraj for helping Lalit Modi

Mysuru: National Students’ Union of India staged a protest here on Monday against Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, demanding her resignation for misusing her office, in connection with her alleged help to Lalith Modi, to secure travel papers from the UK. Mr. Modii is wanted in India for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate in an  IPLmoney laundering case.

The student association of congress party condemned her justification that she was given that she helped Lalith Modi on humanitarian grounds.

The NSUI demanded a detailed probe in the issue. Besides, the investigations  must go into the connections between Sushma Swaraj’s husband Raj and the  accused, Lalith Modi, stated NSUI.

General Secretary of NSUI, Nagesh Kariyappa, State Secretary Manoj, State President Dayanand, and members including Harris, Abbas, Rohith Singh, Poornesh, Sathish took part in the protest.
