Mysore: A Non-Resident Indian having his roots in Mysore, has lodged a complaint at the Women’s Police Station in the town alleging that his life was under threat from his very own wife.

The complainant Senturpathi worked in Canada and was married to Meenakshi of Bogadi 15 years ago. The couple has a child. It is learnt, Senturpathi had married Meenakshi  without accepting any dowry and that the entire marriage cost was also borne by him.

He used to visit Mysore   twice a year and   enjoy his vacations with his wife. However, of late, there had arisen a discord between the couple who used to frequently quarrel.

In his complaint, Senturpathi has alleged that his wife’s behaviour had changed sicne the past one year and she was not in good terms with him. He has also alleged that he had seen her in the company of a stranger and when questioned she had threatened his life.
