No Entry Fee for Tourists Automobiles during Dasara Utsav

Mysore: The state government taken a stance to waive entry fee for tourists automobiles that bring tourists to witness world renowned Dasara Utsav here from October 5 to October 14.

C Shikha, Deputy Commissioner and special officer of Dasara Utsaav overseeing Committee revealed this info and said that this year Dasara Utsav will be held with much grandeur than in the past, said Shikha.

Twenty-member sub Committee has been formed as the preparations for Dasara Utsav is under way. The renowned folk artistes and musicians will partake in the Dasara Utsav. Yuva Dasara that was cancelled last year will resume this year as usual.  Three-month-long Dasara exhibition will be more colourful, as artisans from all over the country will put up their handicrafts stalls here.  The information centers will be set up for the benefit of tourists.  Dasara website will be launched with new features, said Shikha.
