Mysuru: The question paper leak scam of recruitment exam for the appointment of assistant professors in degree colleges has taken a turn as the accused Prof. H Nagaraj, Registrar (Evaluation) of Dharwad’s Karnatak University has been suspended.

University of Mysuru (UoM) Registrar Prof R. Shivappa said that the decision to suspend Nagaraj was taken based on the recommendation made by the university’s legal advisor.

Prof. Nagaraj, who is also a senior faculty of the Geography Department of the Mysore  University, was arrested by Bengaluru’s Malleswaram Police on April 27. He was arrested a couple of days after a guest faculty of the university Dr. R. Sowmya, a resident of Mysuru, was arrested by the police.
