Mysuru: The final touches are being given for the arrangements to welcome thousands of guests from India and abroad for the royal wedding of Yadhu dynasty scion Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar and the bride from Rajasthan Trishika Kumari Singh who belongs to the Dungarpur royal family, which is scheduled to be held on June 27.
Large colourful Shamiyana (Pandal /temporary structure) is in place already within the palace premises and a small pandal has been erected at the elephant entrance of the palace where some pre wedding rituals are likely to take place near the pillar. Barricades have been erected at important locations as hundreds and thousands of guests are likely to visit the place during the wedding period.
Attractive waterproof canopies and food counters have been put up in the palace premises for the distinguished guests.
The place will look extremely beautiful as it will be illuminated during the wedding period in the evenings as government has given permission to the palace administration.
Large television screens around the palace will give an opportunity for the public to view the ceremony telecast live from the palace. Adequate police security has been provided to prevent any untoward incidents around the palace. The Palace will remain closed for public from July 24 to 29.
