Mysore: Indian cricketer Anil Kumble including 5 distinguished personalities were qualified by Mysore University to award honorary doctorate for this year.

The scientist Roddam Narasimha, cricketer Anil Kumble, freedom fighter Hu Rangaswamy, Padmashree cardiologist Dr N Manjunat and T K Vishwanat were selected to award honorary doctorates.

Karnataka governor Hansaraj Bharadwaj will present the honorary doctorates during the Graduation Day celebration of Mysore University on July 5.

The union minister Pallamraju, state higher education minister R V Deshpande, Mysore University chancellor Professor K S Rangappa and distinguished personalities will attend the function.
