Mysore JD(S) candidate booked for poll code violation

Mysore :  A case of violation of election code of conduct has been registered against Chandrashekharaiah, retired judge,  who is contesting as the JD(S) candidate from Mysore-Lok Sabha constituency.

It is learnt, the  candidate who had recently campaigned in Talacauvery along with  JD(S) leader and former CM HD Kumaraswamy on April 1, had not secured the permission for the same from the Election Commission as well as the nearest police station.

Two cases have been registered in Bhagamandala police station in this regard.

It is learnt,  along with the JD(S) candidate, a person who was in the attire of a woman with paddy stock on her head, the JD(S) symbol, had entered the Talacauvery temple along with him.Even this has been considered a violation of poll code of conduct.
