Newskarnataka – Moodbidri

Moodbidri: Students  must  develop interest in music and literature too instead of merely concentrating on academic aspects, said eminent film director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar.

He was speaking after inaugurating ‘Chakravyuha’ a state level inter collegiate technical and cultural fest at the Alva’s Engineering College at Mijar near Moodbidri on April 4, Friday.

Chandrashekher further  stated that  student life is an important phase in one’s life and  students must make  good use of the same  by concentrating on research aspects.  He also stressed the need for students to be creative.

He also regretted the fact that man who is unduly concentrating on the present, is forgetting the past while the truth is that old roots are a must in a plant for new buds to grow.

A multi-language album brought out by Dhwani team of the College was released by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar on the occasion.

Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation who presided over the function, urged students to be beware of those who try to take undue advantage of their weaknesses.
