Mysore: With no party getting a clear majority in the Mysore City Corporation elections, the BJP and the JD(S) are planning a tie-up to rule the city corporation on a coalition basis. Already the leaders of both the parties are trying to persuade the party leadership to agree for the coalition administration.
Despite Congress getting more number of seats, it seems as though it is away from assuming power since the talks between other parties and Congress have fallen flat.
In the event of the ensuing Vidhana Sabha Elections, Sidda Ramaiya, the Opposition Leader doesn’t intend running administration making compromise with other Parties. It has been heard that Siddaramayya didn’t want any conciliation with any party, typical of his character and disposition. So JDS-BJP compromise appears imminent.
If at all these 2 parties hold compromise, the Mayor seat will have a tough battle since desirous candidates are bee-lined in a queue and how this would be managed remains a million dollar questions !
Kumara Swamy JDS State President calling meeting in Bangalore on Monday for holding talks, it has been allegedly said that he would hold rounds of talks. MLAs like Sandesh Nagaraj, Sara Mahesh and Chikkamadu have been empowered already, it has come to be heard of..
BJP veterans too have held talks since they couldnt hold peace.
Dist. In charge Minister SA Ramdas, DC Siddaraju, Former Minister CH Vijaya Shanker were given power of office as it has come to be heard of it. But for anything we will have to just wait and watch for sometime !
