Mysuru: Sri Ram Sene Founder Pramodh Muthalik was in Mysuru on Monday leaving eyebrows raised for the simple reason that the district administration had imposed ban on his entry to Mysuru.

Kyathamaranahalli Raju, the right wing activist who was recently hacked to death was a close aide of Muthalik. After his brutal killing Muthalik wanted to come to Mysuru to meet the bereaved family members, but due to the ban, he could not. But, on Monday, Muthalik made it a point to visit Mysuru and even made public appearance during the protest staged by the BJP condemning the failure of the police department and the government in nabbing Raju’s murderers. The police and intelligence sleuths who were shocked by his appearance tried to convince Muthalik to leave the place at the earliest.
Keeping up his words, he also met the family members of Raju in a house in Mysuru and offered his condolences.
Later responding to media, Muthalik said that he has been seeing the games of the cops over the last thirty years. “If they can impose bans on me, I can trick them too,” he said in a light vein.
